Tama was founded in 1950 in the farming community of Kibbutz Mishmar HaEmek, and twenty years later Kibbutz Galed joined the journey. It began modestly, as a small workshop created to support the kibbutz community, and it grew step by step into something far larger than anyone could have imagined. Today, Tama is guided by the third and fourth generations of these kibbutzim, who carry the founders’ vision with pride and responsibility, keeping its spirit alive while shaping what comes next. From these roots, Tama grew with a clear purpose: to stand beside those who grow, harvest, and feed the world, and to help protect what they work so hard to produce.
